We are recruiting a post doc fellow to work in the Charles Perkins Centre. This is a 4 year fellowship, funded by a generous donation from John and Anne Chong. The project will differentiate hiPSCs to optimise their glucose sensitivity and insulin secretion and will be conducted as part of a larger team that aims to develop capsules to house insulin-secreting cells and treat type 1 diabetes.

FEB 2017: POST-DOC IN STEM CELL RESEARCH

2017 Post Doc available

We are recruiting a post doc to work in the Charles Perkins Centre. The project will use molecular methods to identify the roles of newly identified proteins in regulating insulin secretion. The work is funded by the NHMRC and is for 2 years in the first instance.

Candidates must have expertise in molecular biological techniques such as plasmid design and use, CRISPR, viral infection. None Australian candidates, with appropriate expertise, are eligible to apply.
